About the Company

Purpose of the Job

  • To improve Materials On Time and Procurement Savings by:
  •  Aggregating demand across different projects, commodities, assets and directorates and provide visibility of demands to the procurement team
  • Proactively liaising with end-users for timely release of demand in the system

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quantity Surveying, Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or Demand management experience in an industry in the primary sector
  • Advanced skills in MS-Excel    
  • Proven interpersonal, analytical and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in SAP MM & PM Modules

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain HSE as first priority and ensure zero LTI no harm to people and environment through compliance to PDO house rule, PDO HSE golden rules and PDO LSR (life saving rules).
  • Regular engagement with Integrated activity planners in Oil North, Oil South and Gas directorates to obtain and update a list of operations and maintenance activities (and corresponding activity owners) to be performed during shutdowns/turnarounds 
  • Proactive liaison and monthly meetings with Operations and Maintenance leads across different clusters in Oil North, Oil South and Gas directorates to obtain a list of long lead items (items that need to be ordered before scope of work is finalized) required for different maintenance activities scheduled in those clusters.
  • Thorough review of all requirements for completeness (quantity required, detailed specification etc.) and follow up with Operations and Maintenance/Projects teams where required.
  • Validate timelines for the release of material requirements in the system for long lead items with respect to their lead times and subsequently follow up with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure their release in the system
  • Manage the WOc dates, the WOr dates, the PRc dates and the PRr dates against the LAFDs, the WO priorities and the materials Lead times to improve the overall Material Planning across all materials users. In doing so, liaise with UOM1 team.
  • Regular engagement with Integrated activity planners in Oil North, Oil South and Gas directorates to obtain full list of materials requirements for all activities to be conducted during shutdowns/turnarounds after finalization of work packs.
  • Regular engagement with Projects teams in Oil South, Oil North and Gas directorates to obtain stock items requirement for projects and mapping the same against lead time.
  • Regular engagement with Projects teams in Oil South, Oil North and Gas directorates to obtain demand for stock items and direct charge items needed for EPC (small p) Projects. Map demand against lead time and follow up with Projects teams for timely release of demand in the system
  • Aggregate demand by summing up requirements across Maintenance and Projects for Oil North, Oil South and Gas directorates and update shared excel sheet/ demand management tool to provide visibility to the Buyers/MRPs. Obtain feedback from MRPs/ buyers on release of demand in the system as per the aggregated sheet and follow up with Operations & Maintenance/ Projects where required.
  • Follow up with Operations and Maintenance/Projects teams for timely release of a full list of stock and direct charge items in the system by raising  and releasing PRs.
  • Adhere to PDO HR policies and attend all mandatory trainings and workshops.
