The Artificial Intelligence Director job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Discover, specify, value and prioritize projects in the business unit.
Architect and lead the development of AI-based solutions to the projects with the team.
Lead efforts to obtain, clean, label, and format data for training, testing, and inference.
Lead feature engineering, model training, and fine-tuning efforts to obtain high-quality models.
Assess vendor offerings as possible solutions to use cases
Master's OR Ph.D. degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience and deep knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and/or scientific computing required.
Strong Python programming skills required.
Experience developing, architecting, and running ML or deep learning workloads in the Cloud.
Understanding of data engineering principles and databases.
Proven ability to interact with users to determine their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Experience in managing a small team and being a team player in a global cross-functional group.
Oil and gas domain knowledge and expertise highly desired.
