Job Description
• Maintain and update the company’s Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Handle asset capitalization, disposals, transfers, and depreciation schedules in alignment with company & MEM Regulations& policies.
• Ensures all Contracts relating Fixed Asset, Stock take, Asset tagging, Insurance are valid throughout the year; fromt enduring, preparing SOW and award including other F&A depart ment related contracts
• Handles the Company Year-end Stock Taking process in co-ordination with Daleel & MEM guidelines
• Liaise with User dept on AFE creation in ERP , Wells grouping & Create Wells Codes in ERP
• Provide detailed analysis of AFE variances & Follow up with User dept for justification for any over/under budget
• Prepare detailed financial statement evaluations for project bidders, including analysis of financial health, liquidity, and sustainability
• Assist in audit processes related to Fixed Asset’s & AFE’s .
• Ensure that company HSE Policies and Procedures are followed.
Skills Required
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Accounts
Minimum Work experience
• At least 4-9 years’ experience in Accounting Department.
• At least 4 years’ experience in Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g.Oracle)
• Excellent data presentation skills and ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; tact, patience, diplomacy, confidentiality and integrity.
