Job purpose The Production Delivery Supervisor oversees the daily operations of oil field production, ensuring that safety, efficiency, and output targets are met. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to both operational and HSE regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, supervising field personnel, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of products. The supervisor is also responsible for implementing and enforcing HSE protocols, conducting safety audits, and leading emergency response efforts when necessary. Additionally, they play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team. The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |
Main tasks and responsibilities - Provides extend well testing appraisals for production of the tight gas reservoirs in the Surface Facilities – B60 - Off Plot.
- Avoid excessive flaring of significant volumes of gas while predict full field production profiles.
- Gather EWT data to support on the reduction Key depletion planning uncertainties identified at the outset of appraisal to a level sufficient to inform an investment decision. Ensure the EWT testing improves confidence in predictions of production profiles for the range of full field development wells.
- Reveal the potential full field development design and startup concerns related to formation of hydrates due to gas expansion at the wellhead along with other potential integrity risks due to high chlorides content and the presence of minor H2S levels
- Ensure the changing fluid chemistry helps in redefining the fluid basis of surface facilities design to optimize operability of the full field development.
- Wells custodianship – Receiving all handovers from WS (hoist), sending handovers to construction for hook up. Preparing wells handovers to WS for workover and following up with construction for un-hook & re-hook up activity. In case well relates to OHL, to follow up with maintenance electrical team for power isolation/de-isolation as part of hook up
- Follow up new wells hook up till walk down, attend walk down and record any punch points captured and follow up the closure of punch points. Follow up with surface equipment (VSD & Surface cable) delivery and make sure that construction has marked VSD location to be offloaded correctly
- Other off plot activities: Follow up with construction & commissioning teams (along with support of PDTL) on TL, MSV, produced water lines, export lines/manifolds, etc and attend their walk down, PSSR & commissioning. Participate in off plot shut down activities – planned & non-planned.
- Supervise field personnel and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations. Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills. Promote safety awareness and lead incident investigations, providing corrective actions. Report production and HSE metrics to senior management.
- Flexible to act any of off plot tasks like production delivery team lead, water section supervisor for some time if required.
- Act as accountable & responsible on maintaining workflow and managing to update any required documentation (handovers form, MCC, other reports). Once delegation is done a proper & documented handover shall be given on time.

- Experience with well Surface Well Testing methods: Surface Test Tree, Surface Safety Valve, piping, Data Header, Choke Manifold, Heat Exchanger, 3 Phase Separator, Surge or Atmospheric Tank, Transfer Pump, Chemical Injection Pump, Emergency Shutdown System, Burner Boom/Burner Head or Flare Stack, Lab Container and Workshop.
| Soft: - Strong management & leadership skills to lead all aspects of the Operation & Maintenance process & should be able to work collaboratively with all involved.
