About the Company

Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

Purpose of the Job

PDO offers training opportunities through its Technician Omanisation Programme (TOP) where successful candidates will be trained in one of the following disciplines:
1. Production operators
2. Instrument Technicians
3. Electrical Technicians
4. Mechanical Technicians

Education & Experience

1. Omani national only.
2. Diploma graduates of 2023, 2024 & 2025.
3. College Technical Diploma or Advance Diploma holders with a minimum cumulative CGPA of 2.70 and above (No rounding up) in one of the following majors: 

•    Chemical Engineering
•    Chemical and Process Engineering
•    Control & Automation Engineering
•    Electrical and Electronic Engineering
•    Electrical Engineering/ Electrical Power 
•    Electrical Engineering/ Industrial Electricity
•    Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering
•    Electronics and Telecommunication
•    Instrumentation
•    Mechanical Engineering
•    Mechatronics Engineering
•    Oil & Gas
•    Process Engineering
•    Process Operations/ Maintenance Engineering

4. Candidates should not be older than 27 years of age on the date of application.

Attachments, which are mandatory to be uploaded with your application:
1.    Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
2.    Final full approved and completed diploma academic transcript.
3.    Diploma certificate if available.
4.    Completion letter for those who haven’t graduated yet (Efada).
5.    Omani National ID copy (both sides) & Passport copy. 
6.    Ministry of Labour registration card/letter.
