Job Description
1. Booking supplier invoices after verifications, approvals and ensure they are supported by original supporting documents. 2. Handling back charges cost 3. Ensure compliance with Tax Authority regulations concerning VAT, WHT, CIT,etc 4. Preparing tax statements, filing various tax returns as per Tax Authority deadlines. 5. Preparing of periodic financial reports related to accounts payable, receivable and tax obligations, ERP module closing and reconcile with GL. 6. Support both financial and tax auditors by providing accurate documentation and addressing queries raised by auditors and authorities. 7. Possessing strong knowledge of tax law, any changes in tax laws and regulations and to advice finance team accordingly 8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function 9. Provide support to the accounts department on various tasks and projects as needed. 10. Manage daily tasks independently while meeting established deadlines. 11. Identify and resolve issues proactively, escalating where necessary. 12. Ensure that all HSE/Legal requirements are fully under compliance
Skills Required
Minimum Academic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree in Accounts is a must & 2. ACCA/CPA is preferable Minimum Work experience: 1. At least 4 to 6 years’ experience in Accounting 2. Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications. 3. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Oracle) 4. Excellent data presentation skills and ability to write clearly and concisely. 5. Exceptional interpersonal skills; tact, patience, diplomacy, confidentiality and integrity
