Job Description
Add value and help CCED achieve its strategic goals and objectives by reviewing and improving adequacy and effectiveness of CCED’s processes and internal controls through the execution of Internal Audit Plan and related audit tasks. This is done through assisting the Lead Internal Auditor in preparing and implementing a risk-based audit plan to assess, report on, and make recommendations for improving CCED's processes and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of the annual internal audit plan which identifies key risk areas to be audited. Lead a number of Opening Meetings throughout the year, where appropriate. Assist in developing audit programs and risk control matrices. Execute reviews set out in audit programs to evaluate the level of compliance with approved governance documents and with local laws and regulations. Undertake audit testing and prepare and maintain working papers to document purpose, procedures, and conclusion of tests performed. Analise findings, develop recommendations, discuss opinions and recommendations with Lead Internal Auditor and participate in presentation to audit client at the closing meeting. Conduct follow up audits to ensure all audit findings are closed out in a timely manner.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of internal auditing experience (Oil & Gas auditing experience preferred) Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal) Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills Self-motivated Detail-orientated
