Job Description

- Deliver the daily production targets for oil and water by managing well, facility, control room and water flood operations. - Correlate all relevant data relating to the production of hydrocarbons within his field, quality check enter daily into EC and other reporting systems. - Area Authority or acting Responsible Person for Permit To Work authorization. - Assist supervisor to control and plan assigned work in an effective and efficient manner. - Responsible for the Quality of Oil, Water disposal and Water treatment make sure that the quality are met. - Troubleshoot all discipline abnormalities in the plant and oilfield and report results to supervisor. - Operate field equipment in accordance with operating procedures and approved safety procedures to ensure effective process flows and optimum operational status of equipment - Provide immediate first-line response capability in the event of emergencies or major incidents in order to eliminate or limit potential loss or damage to Company personnel, assets or the environment. - Ensure incoming shift operator is fully briefed of current operating status and significant events during previous shift to ensure seamless hand-over of responsibilities. - Monitor and log all operating parameters ensuring that all irregularities are reported to immediate supervisor for advice and/or resolution. - Maintain a high level of safety awareness and standards in all daily duties and tasks, ensure all safety rules and regulations are adhered to and that safety equipment is always available and used. - Assist, guide and train the technicians in the team to aid their development. - Execute all production activities according to the 14 day schedule (compliance) within budget and to the required quality and OOCEP standard. - Responsible for the daily optimization of wells, facilities and water Injection within the specified operating envelopes. - Collect the quality Data, measurements for reporting and ensure that all WRM activities are carried out. - Liaise with Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient execution of production and maintenance activities. - Prepare plant and equipment for handover to maintenance and well delivery for required planned activities. - Proactively manage all HSE aspects of production activity execution. - Ensure strict compliance with all approved HSE procedures and practices in order to afford protection to life, property and the environment - Ensure HSE and PTW systems are followed before starting a job, ensure proper use of tools and PPE, conduct regular site visits, advice co-workers on potential hazards, check safety equipment, notify management of unsafe working conditions, report HSE. incidents, actively participate in HSE meetings and tool box talks. - Ensure that Critical Tasks related to Asset Integrity-Process Safety Management (Al-PSM), as defined in the Procedural Manual, are undertaken and executed. - Apply AI-PSM principles in all activities. - Ensure to Work safely and think proactively about personal safety and safety of others at work. - Actively participate in, contribute to, and promote company occupational health, safety, security and environment culture. - Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company HSE and Security policies and procedures and meet company HSE goals and targets, and participate in HSE programs. - Stand-by / on-call duties when required' and any other related tasks that you are asked to do.

Skills Required

- Minimum Technical Diploma. - Minimum 6 years' experience as an operator in the oil and gas sector. - Well-developed technical skills. - Strong HSE commitment. - Good team working &' Communication skills. - Self-Motivated, receptive to change and capable of working effectively within a team environment. - Be able to add value by being innovative and challenging existing systems. - Ability to work in a diverse culture.
