The Senior Enterprise Architect leads the Enterprise Architecture, standards and strategy for the new IT foundations to enable PDO to achieve its business goals by linking technology and services to business strategy and objectives. Drives modernization and decoupling of the PDO’s existing architecture and drives the architecture transformation towards the product-platform operating model. Drives technical and architectural decisions for the organization, valuing simplicity and willing to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve agile design. A good candidate is keen to get hands-on, actively helping the teams solve the biggest problems. Main Responsibilities: 1. Design and own the target state enterprise architecture for the technology foundations and the enterprise roadmap for the transition. 2. Prepares important strategic tradeoff-decisions and gains organizational commitment. 3. Set guiding principles, standards, and architectural patterns for the development of the system landscape. 4. Develop and maintain policies, processes, metrics, and governance designed to ensure solutions are stable, scalable, cost-efficient, and support effective delivery. 5. Mentors and coaches Architecture chapter in latest EA best practices. 6. Communicate, champion, and promote the understanding of trends and emerging technologies across PDO. 7. Represent Enterprise Architecture in Domain, Domain Area and PDO-wide meetings & committees. 8. Mentor and coach the technical product owners and engineers, specifically with regards to latest technologies. 9. Hands-on engage with product & platform teams to help develop the solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand, identify and remove technical impediments. Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 2. 10 years of experience in developing and implementing IT systems. 3. Must have experience in the product and platform operating models. 4. Must have experience in Digital Product and Platform 5. Must have good experience in tender contractual projects 6. Must have experience in managing a team of 10 people and above vendors/contractors 7. Possess good understanding of SDLC cycle 8. Candidates who is a PMP certified holder will have an added advantage. 9. Experience driving results and clarifying priorities in a busy and/or political environment valuable. 10. Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and make strategic recommendations to Sr. 11. Experience in any formal architecture framework such as TOGAF, IFW, CBM, BIAN 12. Expert at discovering customer business & technical requirement. Skills & Competencies: 1. Knowledge of business priorities & challenges in Oil & Gas or comparable asset-heavy industries, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. 2. Worked with digital leaders in an asset-heavy industry (Oil & Gas is a plus). 3. Deep knowledge on relevant IT & OT technologies and insights into latest trends relevant to the industry. 4. Deep knowledge of necessary tools and practices to enable state of the art Enterprise Architecture 5. 10+ years in IT/Digital, thereof at least 4 year in Enterprise Architecture. 6. Experience in Cloud-native environments and hands-on coding background are a strong plus. 7. Deep experience working in an Agile environment with products & platform with clear understanding of key roles and practices. 8. Ability to integrate architectural process with Agile practices and manage technical priorities within the backlog. 9. Ability to bring a holistic and strategic view on architectural issues. 10. Ability to abstract and problem solve highly complexed challenges, with a proven drive for simplification. 11. Strong communication skills with ability to align organization on complex technical decisions and explain technology and its implications to a wide range of stakeholders. 12. Skilled at defining, motivating and driving change at executive levels and across the broader community of stakeholders. 13. Strong track-record of leading teams and mentoring team members in latest technologies & agile way of working. 14. Highly collaborative individual who embraces working with many partners and stakeholders. 15. High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential. 16.
