The Artificial Lift Engineer (Gas Lift) overall responsibility of all artificial lift issues. This includes artificial lift design, monitor and optimize performance of all artificial lift wells in the Safah and Wadi Latham area fields. The types of artificial lift now utilized are (Gas Lift) GL and (Plunger Lift) PL. A responsibility includes managing artificial life contractor, equipment, personal & performance all the related service agreements.
The Artificial Lift (GL) Engineer responsibilities include but not limited to:
Daily monitoring of wells and working with Well Analysts to validate well test, troubleshoot the well and adjust gas lift rate for optimum operation.
Monitor Artificial Lift well actual performance against Artificial Lift well potential (Performance matching).
Record and update GL valve data base for all valves records in all the well’s.
Generate monthly optimization report.
Support the production engineers in redesigning down hole gas lift completions to maximize well potential using Prosper model.
Quality check all the recommended GL designs and equipment selection made by RMT production Engineer.
Coordinate down hole remediation work with well services and contractors.
Scheduling of preventive maintenance and other services for each well as per the industry standard, safe and trouble free.
Check GL surface network performance, including finding bottlenecks and recommending engineering solutions.
Focal point for the LOWIS and performance matching program.
Manage all contracts and service orders of the Gas lift systems.
Act as company site representative for GL services and equipment contracts.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure enough stock levels to execute new installations and replacement jobs.
Ensure contractor allocate enough resources to support field operations.
Support field stuff and operation engineers in important trouble shootings of problematic wells.
Participate is well review sessions.
Ensure all AL working procedures are in place.
Provide training on Gas Lift systems design, optimization and troubleshooting to field personnel.
