الوصف الوظيفي
- Applying technical skills for the Health, Safety and care of the Environment for the staff. - Presenting safety training and attending meeting, running TBTs and safety stand-down, monitoring PTW activities and carrying out risk assessment with the Operations/ Maintenance teams. - Provide HSSE induction of all new staff and visitors. - Ensuring that the safety equipment and PPE are inspected and tested. - Hold regular safety drills according to allocated timeframes and to high technical standards. - Implement HSE policy principals and influence a safety culture together with ensuring operational risks, including major hazards, are identified and managed. - Implementation of operations HSE plans and procedures. - Ensure the implementation of OOCEP Life Saving Rules requirements. - Ensure the implementation of OPAL HSE standards. - Effective implementation and monitoring of process safety management on the plant facilities. - Site and off plot activities monitoring from safety prospect. - Responsible to maintain and inspect all BLOCK 60 portable firefighting and safety devices and lifesaving equipment test and calibration and ensure it is current. - Responsible to report all incidents and accidents including near misses occurred within BLOCK 60 in line with OOCEP incident reporting and investigation standards and procedure. - Document incident data and feeding essential information into HSE Database (INTELEX) to facilitate follow up incident corrective actions and preventive actions until closure. - Conduct safety tool box talks among the staff and provide advice on industrial safety best practices. - Carryout gas testing whenever required. - Develop corrective and preventive actions CAPA, to prevent OOCEP assets from loss or impact arising from HSE issues. - Inspects the safety of plant, machinery, equipment, and personnel practices - Participates in the periodic (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) BLOCK 60 Operations Progress Meetings. - Responsible to maintain both oil and gas plant safety equipment maintenance and inspection log. - Participate in BLOCK 60 emergency evacuations exercises. - Ensure availability of adequate safety &' emergency response equipment to be in operable condition and certification are up-to date. - Ensure BLOCK 60 staff, visitors and contractors are trained on BLOCK 60 HSE Induction &' H2S awareness and escape training prior to enter BLOCK 60 facilities. - Conducts in-house HSE awareness sessions and establish suitable training programs for specific job positions on company HSE procedures. - Advise on HSE performances and identify opportunities for improvement. - Ensure to Work safely and think proactively about personal safety and safety of others at work - Actively participate in, contribute to, and promote company occupational health, safety, security and environment culture. - Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company HSE and Security policies and procedures and meet company HSE goals and targets, and participate in HSE programs. - Stand-by/on-call 24/7 duties when required' and - Any other related tasks that you are requested to perform.
المهارات المطلوبة
- Minimum diploma in Occupational safety and health management or equivalent (Bachelor preferable). - Good communication skills. - Self-driven. - Good knowledge of basic safety equipment in oil and gas industry. - Able to work with the minimum of supervision. - Good communicator and not afraid of the difficult conversation, - Possessing good analytical skills.
