The In Country Value (ICV) Head will be reporting to the Planning & ICV Manager and will be tackling the below responsibilities.

 

The ICV Head responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manages the relationships with counterparts in Oman Oil & Gas Operators and the MOG. 
  • Manages the engagements with suppliers with regard to ICV.
  • Manages the relationship with the MOG with regard to the Super Local Community Contractors.
  • Contributes to the ICV?s vision to achieve long-term ICV aspirations. 
  • Manages and leads a team of employees.
  • Leads the SME Development Programs and coming up with new opportunities for new phases.
  • Responsible for the deployment, training, monitoring and reporting of the ICV System involving all major third party contracts of Oxy and linking this to MOG?s dashboard.
  • Identifies ICV opportunities by gathering and analyzing data from Supply Chain and understanding of the local Omani market.
  • Uses the Supply Chain database (OneOxy) to retrieve data to enhance and monitor ICV.
  • Coaches vendors on what on the importance of ICV, the data format that they should submit and the quality check for the data.
  • Liaises with the SME, and Local Community sections to find common grounds to increase ICV.
  • Proposes strategies and tactics to enhance Oxy?s ICV level.

  • Occasionally deputize for the ICV Manager.

  • Bachelor�s Degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years� experience in the Oil and Gas industry including 2 years working experience in the In County Value (ICV) field.

  • Strong leadership in managing people.
  • Experience in broad range of projects and phases of the industry:  i.e., national content, project contract strategies, operation strategies, etc.

  • Political negotiations experience; proven ability to negotiate with both government and non-government entities (contractors, partners, etc.)

  • Strong Planning and Organizational capabilities.

  • Strong PC skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
