The Associate Treasury Accountant will be responsible for treasury day to day activities, monitoring, reporting, and following up on all treasury related to Occidental of Oman.
The Associate Treasury Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In charge of looking into the Treasury Module in SAP.
Payment Booking Transition to Treasury (FEBAN).
Gains and Loss Review and Booking Moved to Treasury.
Payment accruals after AP month-end close.
Reconciliation of all payments and receivable bookings to match the GL book.
In charge of treasury day-to-day activities.
Monitor daily cash positions and reconcile bank accounts.
Execute and coordinate bank transactions, including deposits, transfers, and payments.
Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow requirements.
Prepare various reports and projections to ensure adequate liquidity.
Maintain relationships with banks and finance department.
Support financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Manage intercompany transfers and settlements.
Develop and document treasury policies and procedures.
Recommend and implement strategies to improve efficiency in treasury operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above; priority will be given to the highest GPA in the selection process.
Must be a fresh graduate, job seeker or working in a non-permanent position.
Must have not held any permanent jobs before.
Must be graduated on the date of application.
Must be an Omani national.
