• Bachelor’s degree level qualification in engineering discipline (Electronics, Control & Automation, Electrical) is required.
• Has 4 years oil and gas industry experience including front-line supervisory roles for maintenance and/or commissioning.
• Experience in maintenance, installation, and field commissioning activities for field instrumentation and control & automation systems, etc. Experience in ‘sour’ operations is desired.
• Previous experience in small, medium, and large projects, on live installation is essential,
• Performed in commissioning or maintenance role, participating, and executing activities in projects for Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up phases.
• Experience in installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting field instrumentation for flow, pressure, level, temperature, fire & gas, vibration, control valves, QMI.
• Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, operations, and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting for field instrumentation with fieldbus, HART, wireless communication protocols, PLC, SCADA, tank gauging, custody transfer DCS, IPS/ / FCS, F&G, Condition monitoring, analysers, electrical supply AC UPS, DC UPS, cables, and earthing system, etc.
• Experience in use of control and automation, instrumentation calculations and formulae, etc.
• Experience in control, safeguarding, F&G, machine condition and monitoring systems, e.g., Honeywell, Yokogawa, HIMA, Delta-V, ProSafe, Triconex, SCADA, Bentley Nevada etc.
• Knowledge of relevant industrial codes (ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, EN, API, BS, NFPA etc.) and shall be familiar with applicable Shell DEPs and Company documents such as SPs, PRs etc.
• Knowledge in reading and understand technical standards, drawings and able to review and interpret to determine compliance with the requirements or meeting the acceptance criteria.
• Experience in technical and HSE hazards and risks identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Application of a computerised Completions Management System.
• Experienced in structured technical review or audit.
• Effective communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate subject area within multi-disciplined project team.
• Qualified PPS (Practical Problem Solving) facilitator and / or Lean Practitioner,
• Conversant with Continuous Improvement (CI) Fundamentals and use of lean principles and methodologies,
• Experience in application and implementation of continuous improvement principles, process, and methodologies.
