About the Program

Our 36-month graduate programme provides exciting and challenging opportunities to develop professional skills for a successful career. You will be exposed to a range of business sectors, build skills via sophisticated interactions across various functions including operations and production. Throughout your journey at bp, training courses and on the job training will help you to develop your technical and behavioral competencies, and you will be guided every step along the way by an experienced coach, mentor, and buddy. The Electrical Engineer Graduate will work closely with various disciplines across the organizations and the Electrical Engineering Equipment Class Owners to gain the necessary development skills to act as an Electrical engineering focal point for the Khazzan Operating Plant. Reporting to the Electrical Engineer Team Lead within the Engineering Services Organization based in Muscat Office, the role presents a rare opportunity to be part of establishing a new operating center which will aspire to the highest operating standards, comparable with the best of bp facilities worldwide.

You are expected to demonstrate:

  • A passion to develop a career in the energy industry.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic communication and presentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership in extra-curricular and/or social activities.
Programme eligibility:

  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering
  • Graduates of 2023, 2024 or 2025 academic years.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Omani citizenship
