As a crucial member of the PDO legal team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing PDO’s contract strategies and supporting a variety of commercial transactions. Your work will directly influence PDO's Integrated Supply Chain function, offering legal expertise on a variety of new projects and significant contracts, and indirectly support strategic PDO transactions, thereby driving high-impact decisions and mitigating risk across PDO’s organization.
Your role will necessitate active collaboration with PDO's top executives to formulate and execute risk-aware, high-caliber legal strategies that promote solid decision-making. Your responsibilities as Managing Counsel will oversee a broad array of responsibilities, including managing strategic tenders, addressing both pre- and post-contractual issues, handling major claims, disputes and litigation, and overseeing new capital ventures, positioning you at the heart of PDO's most critical and strategic endeavors. A significant aspect of your role includes coaching and mentoring your team, focusing on their immediate challenges and long-term growth. You will set and achieve an annual business plan that aligns with both PDO's and the Legal Department's strategic goals, working in close cooperation with the Ethics & Compliance team and other legal experts to ensure the provision of unified and thorough legal advice.
