Job purpose Driving the SAP-ERP activities under the authority of the Manager of Digital Solutions Delivery. Responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the organization’s SAP (ERP) system. This role requires an in-depth understanding of ERP architecture, business processes, system integration, and configuration to ensure that the SAP system meets business requirements efficiently and effectively. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, troubleshoot issues, and provide strategic insights to enhance overall system performance and utilization The position will act by the organization’s mission, vision, values, and strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |
Mandate QHSSE Obligations - Ensure compliance with the HSE Management System.
- Monitor and report safety performance and compliance.
- Guide, advise, communicate, and enforce safe behavioural practices (Life Saving Rules, Process Safety Rules) to perform tasks safely.

Main tasks and responsibilities - Collaborate with demand management teams to align and prioritize initiatives according to business needs.
- Ensure proper business readiness activities are conducted to ensure business units are prepared for service changes in SAP.
- Provide continuous improvement services to improve existing SAP business processes and plan the capacity for SAP software development.
- Establish Service Level Agreements for SAP services.
- Configure SAP modules and services delivery and the delivery of data and application architecture.
- Execute SAP support activities including the assessment and execution of SAP upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation strategies. Ensure the test process, methodologies, and tools for SAP are applied appropriately and that stakeholders agree to test phase criteria.
- Lead the mitigation and control activities as well as identifying and evaluating risks.
- Ensure adherence to development and IT service management standards.
- Participate in procurement and contract management processes related to SAP – ERP solutions.
- Manage effective use of testing tools and testing automation process fundamentals.
- Define and steward a Quality Management System for the SAP services configured in each module.

Education requirements Bachelor’s Degree, or Diploma or equivalent. |

Experience and background From 8 to 10 years of experience with multiple SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, HCM etc., and demonstrate understanding of SAP business and technical architecture. |
