To provide process engineering support to the operations teams in order to proactively monitor and troubleshoot the process to ensure operation is within operating envelopes, optimized (both production and energy efficiency) and deferment minimised. To provide the ‘Facilities/ F' input to the WRFM (Well Reservoir Facilities Management) team (as required) via Daily Production reviews and Production System Optimisation (PSO) reviews in order to identify and implement opportunities to further optimise the production system. To provide support to the PDO wide initiatives in improving how process system optimisation, production system optimisation, energy efficiency, flaring reduction, and deferment reduction.

Bachelor or Masters' degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. 7 years' experience in Process Engineering preferably in the Oil and Gas industry or Refinery/Petrochemicals. Minimum of 4 (out of the 7) years in Oil and Gas Upstream Operations/Refinery/Petrochemicals. Experience in oil/gas/condensate processing facilities, process utilities and water systems. Process Safety Management knowledge in Oil and Gas Operations. Experience in troubleshooting and debottlenecking process facilities. Knowledge and skills in industry wide process simulation software such as Pipesim, Unisim/Hysys, Promax, Flaresys/Flarenet, etc. Ability to interface and network both with the process engineering discipline and with other disciplines across a wide range of organisational boundaries (i.e. Operation, Production Programming, Sub-surface, Production Chemistry, etc.). Experience in upstream an advantage. Knowledge in energy management / efficiency. Experience in equipment sizing an advantage (e.g. relief valves, control valves, line sizing and hydraulics). Self-motivated, enthusiastic and capable of taking initiative. Skilled in coaching and mentoring.
