Job Description
Accountabilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, Subsurface, well service and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), to achieve common goals.
Accountable for ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance within production operations.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance in all upstream production activities, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Overall accountability for the performance of upstream production wells, ensuring optimal productivity, and efficiency.
Accountable for the accuracy of production data, overseeing its collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform operational decisions.
Responsible for overseeing and managing well testing activities, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
Responsible for creating short term production forecast with alignment of other cross functions.
Responsibility for planning and scheduling upstream production activities, coordinating with relevant teams to meet production targets.
Monitor flow assurance of flowline network and suggest studies and improvements when required.
Accountable for overseeing contracts related to upstream production activities, ensuring compliance, activity planning and managing relationships with contractors.
Collaborate with the Team Lead - Upstream Production Engineering to optimize asset performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of upstream production activities with overall production strategies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities for enhancing production processes and implementing best practices.
Initiate and write manuals, operating & commissioning procedures, standards related to Upstream production.
Responsible for issuing and accuracy of production allocation and HCA.
Participate in interdisciplinary projects to improve overall field performance.
Ensure that the production database is up-to-date and reconciled.
Authorisations:
Authorization to review and approve contracts related to production services, equipment, and third-party vendors.
Authorization to initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the production processes.
Authorization to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make decisions that impact production goals in interdisciplinary projects.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Upstream production engineering and related fields, with a focus on managing and optimizing production.
