Inventory Analyst will be responsible for analyzing of goods & materials by reviewing the inventory transactions in the MRP system, track and reconcile inventory, provide & update KPI reports, monitor proponent orders to insure timely processed, and interact with various warehouse partners. 

Inventory analyst responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Collaborates with end users to identify requirements and quantities for planned maintenance activities.

• Determine the optimal amount of inventory to be stocked in warehouse for current and forecasted consumption.

• Carry our weekly inventory replenishment for all stock items and generate requisitions

• Coordinate with the proponent to develop future requirements

• Coordinate with the concerned departments for the review of the stock items technical specifications, stock levels and write off stock items

• Perform inventory analysis and management to avoid low stock and overstock.

• Review the lead time of all the stock items in the system
• Identification of slow moving and obsolete items

• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection of slow moving materials and identification of materials not fit for use.

• Review, monitor and take necessary actions of all other accounts associated to inventory such as MIT, WIP & others on regular basis.

• Monitor & analyze materials movement transactions and report any abnormalities.

• Ensure a complete control record of all store transaction and accounting are maintained.

• Collects daily operational data and utilizes ERP systems & others tools to properly account for stock values changes and other systemic data control within the material master in real time.

• Reconciles the cycle count on regular basis.

• Carry out annual review on materials preservation status and execute materials preservation project

• Continuously review min/max of materials to ensure optimum level is always maintained

• Review and monitor inventory KPIs and ensure optimum level of turnover ratio is maintained

• Analyze new stock entry requirements based on operational criticality
• Maintain logbook for all new stock entry requirements
• Review replenishment report and ensure ordering only needed materials
• Ensure consistency of materials specifications across all blocks

• Coordinate with the proponent to highlight slow and project leftover materials

• Work to continuously improves Inventory control
• Revalidate materials criticality classification with the proponent

• Review the min – max level of inventory on regular basis and ensure adequate levels are maintained all time.

• Initiate and action the process of write-off items from inventory and chasing the concern department until the end of the process.

• Collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory optimization, demand planning, and materials amalgamation preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical industry OR College Diploma with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in inventory optimization, demand planning, and materials .

• Must have good knowledge in materials specification, inventory operational techniques and management.

• Must possess an analytical thinking

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of drilling, completion, MROs and project materials 

• Knowledge in QA/QC of materials
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in multi-tasking, setting priorities and self-motivation, while still working as an effective team member.

• Strong communication skills, expertise in Excel, superior time management skills and an affinity for details will be essential to fulfil the expectations for this position.

•  Knowledge of Oracle/SAP is preferred.
