الوصف الوظيفي

The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will be responsible for ensuring that Mukhaizna processes are operating within design specifications and control limits.  To accomplish this, the Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process)will work with appropriate team members (Operators and Team Leads) to monitor and adjust the particular process as required depending upon the input and output factors.  The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process)will ensure that all processing and operating procedures are in compliance with company health, environment and safety policies.

 

The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will develop and implement process controls (including statistical analysis/controls) to ensure a consistent product specification while quickly identifying when a process change has occurred.  Along with the  “Statistical process control (SPC), the Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will help identify, create, track and report key performance indicators” (KPI) & metrics associated with the processes. The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will provide process surveillance and develop hydraulic, thermal, material and energy balance models for water, steam and oil systems. The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will help design the condition monitoring and preventive maintenance programs for appropriate equipment and process streams. The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will be responsible to perform project screening, validation and perform conceptual and feasibility type studies and produce project and equipment specifications. The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will perform efficiency and detailed economic evaluations supporting  cost savings programs.  The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will also scope applicable process improvement projects and assist with budgeting, material specification, and project commissioning and implementation where appropriate. The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) will serve a mentoring and coaching role to the operating staff in his area of expertise as well as play an oversight role on the daily operation of the plant, ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with all company and governmental rules and regulations.   

 

The Total Process Reliability Engineer (Process) responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Identify and establish process control variables and acceptable operating ranges for equipment.
  • Manage the key process metrics to support process reliability while meeting customer specifications.
  • Develop & institute statistical process controls with appropriate analysis & process recovery procedures.
  • Identify potential and actual process problem areas and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment and processes for continual process improvement.
  • Support HAZOP and HAZOP revalidation and Management of Change Processes.
  • Maintain & Analyze historical records of process inputs/outputs to find cause/effect and look backs on all change recommendations for optimization of various process streams.  
  • Scope and communicate equipment reliability, optimization and cost savings projects within Mukhaizna.
  • Perform Process and economic modeling.
  • Develop and Generate detailed justifications, studies, specifications and reporting in general.
  • Train and mentor staff to ensure operational excellence including effective process surveillance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Process or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience.
  • Experience working with operators and engineers to confirm, optimize, or modify control parameters and logic governing mechanical process equipment and machinery operations.
  • Experience with root cause failure analysis methods.
  • Experience in oilfield plant including the development of processes and monitoring programs is preferred.
  • Experience with Hysis, Hysim and pipesim is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with OSI-PI relational data base or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in economic modeling including Net Present Value, Net Worth and sensitivities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze process and equipment data to identify problems and opportunities.
  • Familiar with oil dehydration and oilfield water treatment, Steam Generation and Fuel Gas processes.
  • Awareness of statistical process controls methods and application.
  • Ability to organize and work with multi-discipline team on optimization & de-bottlenecking projects.
